Smithsonian Bear Skull

The Smithsonian has many various artifacts that are not on display in the museums. This project entailed the initial bear skull being scanned with the Artec Spider and then 3D printed in the Projet 660 - CJP technology. As the material base is plaster treating as such in post allowed for it to be coated with a clear epoxy that, once cured, made the model very durable. This is current on display at the museum and any one is allowed to touch this replica.
